A day of action to raise the wage!
Iowans need a living wage. It has been seven years since the minimum wage was increased in Iowa and we know the cost of living has gone up.Iowa Senate Democrats introduced Senate Study Bill 1151 that would raise the wage to $8.75 - an insult to Iowa families. We know that’s not good enough and we’re going to demand more.Join us for a day of action and stand up for a living wage!
When: Tues., Feb. 24 | 9 am - 3 pm
Where: CCI Action Headquarters, 2001 Forest Ave., Des Moines, IA (we will head to the State Capitol from there)
Why: to stand up for a living wage!
We're going to start the day with a press conference, do a letter delivery, and wrap up with an exciting action!Register here! Any questions? Call 515.255.0800.
