URGENT: 3 public hearings Monday, March 6

Three public hearings have been scheduled on big-deal, important issues that directly impact everyday Iowans - and we need you there to weigh in. These bills affect all of us - workers, voters and our environment.Here's how you can show up big time on Monday - be present, make public comment or send in your comment if you can't be with us in person.  Public Hearings (again all on Monday, March 6), meet us at the Capitol in the Rotunda:

10:00-11:00AM: Public hearing on bill to dismantle the Des Moines Water Works, HF 484 (formerly HF 316)

5:00-6:30 PM: Public hearing on local preemption bill, HF 295 (bill that would lower the minimum wage for thousands of Iowans, take away local control from cities and counties)
