A great day to door knock!
On Saturday, CCI Action members from the Quad Cities and around the state hit the streets in Davenport to talk to folks about clean water. It was a blast, but even more than that, we made a difference. We had some great conversations about what CCI Action members are doing to clean up Iowa’s dirty water, and how Senator Joe Seng can assist us in those efforts. And we gathered dozens more signatures for a petition we’re circulating statewide calling on the DNR to enforce the Clean Water Act in Iowa.If you joined us on Saturday, thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to take action on cleaning up Iowa’s dirty water. And if you weren’t able to join us, don’t worry – we’ve got another opportunity to stand up for clean water right around the corner! We’re holding another day of door-knocking in Davenport on Saturday, September 28th. We don’t have a time or location for the 28th yet, but I’ll send that information out as soon as we do.For now, mark your calendars for Saturday, September 28th, for a chance to join these door-knockers in taking action to clean up our water!
