What would you tell Terry?

"The least that should be done at this time is to allow expansion of Medicaid in Iowa."

Dear Governor Branstad,I live in Ames and work in nursing homes, some in rural areas. I am fortunate to have health insurance through my husband's job. However, many of my coworkers do not because nursing home employees make insufficient money to afford it.One of my close coworker's disabled husband developed cancer. They must travel to Iowa City for his treatment because she is the sole wage earner and cannot afford health insurance, and must rely on IowaCare. She is worried about jeopardizing her job due to extended absences. She lives in Grand Junction where other jobs matching her education and skills are scarce, so losing her job may mean eviction. The current system is not working well... This is so not right. The least that should be done at this time is to allow expansion of Medicaid in Iowa.
